Through our experience working across the athletic ecosystem, we know that athletes face complex realities beyond competition.
We recognize that organizations face increasing responsibility around Title IX, policy related education, wellbeing, and career readiness.
Generic one-size-fits all models do not work in athletic environments.
Next Play Education exists to bridge this gap, serving as an education and development partner for Player Development professionals within professional sports, Athletic Directors, Title IX Directors, Compliance Officers, and Student-Athlete Development Leaders.
Ricardhy is a transformational leader who goes beyond transactional frameworks and represents the best of the intersection of intellectualism and humanity. He has the unique ability to innovate, ideate and implement with a floor to ceiling perspective, while always staying mindful of purpose and compassion.

It’s not often that you find a colleague as thoughtful, earnest, and strategic as Ricardhy. I have worked in partnership with Ricardhy on the development and implementation of a groundbreaking education and awareness program for Major League Baseball for seven years. He brings clarity, integrity, and passion to all our work
— Rachael Smith Fals
I’ve worked with Ricardhy for the last several years [in my role as the Head of HR for the St. Louis Cardinals]. He’s been a great partner to HR at the [30 MLB] teams and is very knowledgeable. He listens to our concerns, questions, and ideas; and then sees how we can best move forward. I’ve enjoyed working with him and his team!
— Ann Seeney
Ricardhy’s leadership in driving a strategic roadmap to help Major League Baseball players plan for life beyond baseball, included a partnership with Northeastern University. The partnership helped to streamline the process for players to complete their degrees and further reinforced the commitment to working intentionally to drive impact. He was collaborative, knowledgeable, and demonstrated a high level of sophistication in managing the relationship between both sides.
— Dan Queen
Ricardhy managed the Project Teamwork anti-bullying program for the Center for the Study of Sport in Society when I received a grant to implement the program with students at a Boston Public High School in 2014. Ricardhy was an amazing partner and co-collaborator to implement the initiative and train & empower the students to lead anti-bullying programming with younger students…He is one of the most talented, forward thinking, collaborative, and visionary leaders that I have worked with.
— Lauren Bard
As a clinical consultant I have worked/partnered with Ricardhy for nearly 7 years [In providing clinical support to MiL players]. I find him to have that rare quality of strong business acumen combined with a sense of compassion and empathy for those he is put in a position to serve. He can create structure and process strategic initiatives even in the context of competing demands.

The Kansas City Royals are an American professional baseball team based in Kansas City, Missouri, with minor league academies in the Dominican Republic. The Royals boast many notable achievements, including multiple division titles and World Series championships. In the realm of baseball, the Royals are known as trailblazers in driving social programs, including player education and community engagement.
The Team in-person presentations on the annual prevention and awareness education concerning the League’s Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse policies for the Royals staff and minor league players were exceptional in content and delivery. The presenters’ ability to conduct these sessions with profound insight and engagement, in both English and Spanish, demonstrated a deep level of understanding not only of the topic but also in ensuring culturally relevant content. Their timely communication and flexibility in accommodating our schedule and needs ensured a seamless experience. The presentations were not only informative but also highly interactive, fostering an environment conducive to learning and discussion. The knowledge of Elevate Impact’s facilitators regarding MLB policies and the culture of our players and staff was evident in every aspect of their engagement with us. We look forward to future engagements with Elevate Impact and recommend their services to any organization seeking thoughtful and comprehensive presentations on staff and player education topics.
